Now it is September and back to school time for many students after the summer holiday.
In my home country Ireland, the new school year begins in September, not April like here in Japan.
Therefore September always reminds me of starting back to school and beginning a new school year.
A time of year for all students from elementary school to university students to “Hit the books” and start studying again for the new academic year.
Yes the Autumn season will soon be upon us, bringing with it the Halloween festivities at the end of October, only 2 months away, already you can see the Halloween goods and decorations in the \100 shop.
Two months later then it will be Christmas time! And the end of the year!
So now is precisely a good time to put the head down “hit the books” before the year is out!

夏休みも終わり９月に入りみなさんは通常の学校生活に戻っていることでしょう。
私の故郷のアイルランドでは日本のように４月ではなく９月に学校の新年度が始まります。
ですので９月にはいつも新しい学年で学校生活が始まることを思い出します。
皆さん、新年度に向けて猛烈に勉強を再開しましょう！
さて、秋になり１０月末のハロウィンまで２カ月を切り、すでにたくさんのハロウィングッズを１００円ショップで見かけますね。その２か月後にはクリスマスが来ます！
さぁ皆さん今が勉強する時です！年内にがんばりましょう！
